Hello, my name is Tien (pronounced TEN). I'm a medically-retired, body-centered psychotherapist and former bodyworker with 25+ years of clinical experience. A specialist in recognition that the body and mind are not separate in health/care, my role has been to empower clients in managing somato-emotional imbalances. Diagnosed with Autoimmune Rheumatoid Disease and being a lifelong volunteer/advocate informs her efforts to educate the public about the unique stigmas and difficulties that BIPOC face in health/care (physical, mental/emotional and social) settings. I am a vocal advocate, published author (non-fiction, research and urban self-help genres), speaker, and philosopher on all things BodyMind. My 1st book is titled It's Healing Time For The BodyMind of Black Womxn; How to Live a Life you Love and Love the Life you Live and recently published a minimally-guided journal EveryBODY Has A Story: A BodyMind Journal both are available on Amazon.
My business, BodyMind Consulting, LLC, utilizes this knowledge and expertise to educate and inform those who seek to understand the BodyMind and why it cannot be separated in health or care. The work is centered on the processing and problems of the BodyMind, especially chronic illness (mental, emotional or physical) and how to employ effective self-care strategies. BMC, LLC currently serves small groups for the purpose of training, coaching or group counseling.

your intentions and please be gentle
